Privacy Policy
How BasePoint collects, uses, and protects your information.
Effective date: June 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how North Bridge Path LLC d/b/a BasePoint ("BasePoint", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit our website (the "Site") or use our virtual assistant recruitment and staffing services (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you submit a hiring request, application, or contact form, or book a call, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, business email, phone number, franchise/company name, role and support needs, and any message you include. Virtual assistant applicants may also provide location/time zone, a résumé or portfolio link, experience, availability, and a short profile.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Site, we and our analytics providers automatically collect limited usage data such as pages viewed, referring pages, approximate location, device and browser type, and interactions (for example, which calls-to-action are clicked). This is used in aggregate to understand and improve the Site.
Scheduling. If you book a staffing or alignment call, the scheduling provider collects the information needed to confirm the meeting (such as your name, email, and selected time).
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your inquiries and provide recruitment, matching, and staffing services;
- identify and screen virtual assistant candidates and coordinate interviews;
- communicate with you about your request, candidates, scheduling, and next steps;
- operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site and Services;
- detect and prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
5. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, and meet our legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
6. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, or to request a copy of it. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond as required by applicable law. You may also unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may link to or integrate with third-party websites and tools (for example, scheduling or communication platforms). We do not control and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own policies.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
11. SMS / Text Messaging
If you provide a mobile number and opt in — by checking the SMS consent box on one of our forms, or by texting us first — BasePoint may send you text messages related to the request or relationship you initiated: replies to your inquiry, candidate and appointment coordination, scheduling reminders, and follow-up about your staffing request or application. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.
We log your SMS opt-in — the mobile number, the exact consent language shown to you, the form and page, and the date and time — so we can honor your preferences and evidence your consent.
No mobile opt-in or text message consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates. We do not sell or share your mobile opt-in or SMS consent for marketing or promotional purposes. This SMS-consent exclusion applies even though other information you provide may be shared with the service providers that help us operate, as described in "How We Share Information."
See our SMS Terms for full details. To stop texts, reply STOP or contact us at info@remotebasepoint.com.
